Luang Poo Mun Bhuridatta
Wat Pah Suddhavas, Sakol Nokhon

Considered the true and prime leader of all monks dedicated to Kammatthana practice (Buddhist insight meditation) in Thailand. He was totally committed to the study of Dhamma, Buddha’s teachings. He resided at Wat Baan Nong Pue from 1944 until he passed away at the age of eighty. His disciples placed his remains in Wat Pah Suddhavas, Sakol Nakhon

Ordained as a novice at the age of fifteen and as a monk at the required age at Nakhon Srithammarat. He made a pilgrimage to Ayutthaya where he resided at Wat Rajanuvas. In his old age he returned south to reside at Wat Patdhasingh Bampot Pakoh and passed away in Saiburi. His disciples, however, held his cremation at

Born in 1878. Ordained as a novice at the age of eighteen and as a monk at the age of twenty at Wat Doi Tae, Lamphun. He was the spiritual leader of over 5,000 true believers and disciples, inspiring them to build an 11-kilometer road up to Phra Dhat Doi Suthep. The road, now known as Kru Ba Srivichai Road, was completed in five months and twenty-five days. He passed away on
February 20th 1938.
