Born
in 1776 and ordained as a novice at the age of thirteen. He
was ordained under the royal sponsorship at Wat Takrai, Phitsanulok.
He was the royal mentor and teacher of the Khmer
Language to H.R.H. Crown Prince Mongkut when the
Crown Prince was ordained a novice. A monk of profound wisdom,
he was renowned for his sagacity and his witty eloquence. He strictly
observed all tenets of itinerant monkhood. He passed away at the age of
eighty-five. |
