Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya Rajaworaviharn

This Royal temple was constructed in 757 A.D. It is the place where Phra Borommathat Chaiya, the most completed Srivijaya Chedi is situated. The 24 meter high chedi is situated on a square base, surrounded by a cloister enshrined various styles and sizes or Srivijaya Buddha Images. It is interesting that the Srivijaya Buddha Images there always have a Replica of Bodhi Leaf depicted on their radius heads.
