He is revered by the Karens in Lamphun. He is a pioneer development monk leading the Karen Hill Tribe to do good, behave properly, and improve their way of living.
Tai Sue Yen Boon
(Yen Boon the Chinese Monk)

He is a Mahayana monk, born in 1920 in Kwangtung, China. He ordained first as novice in Thailand and later as a monk in China. He returned to reside in Thailand in 1947. He passed away in 1983 at the age of sixty three.
