click King Taksin the Great Shrine

click The Shrine is located near the office of the Provincial Highway Division housing a statue of King Taksin the great which is a little larger than his genuine human size. The statue is in the sitting position having a sword laying across his lap.at the base of the statue an inscription saying "Phra Chao Taksin of Krung Thonburi" is engraved. King Taksin was born in the year 1734 and passes away in 1782 totalling the age of 48 years. On the first of January of every years a gayful celebration is conducted by the province as an annual fair.
